Grafton Ghost Town Utah
The remains of Grafton, a Mormon settlement colonized in 1859, are just south of the community of Rockville Utah on Route
9 going to Zion Canyon National Park.
It's on the National Register as a Historic Site and is preserved by the Grafton Heritage Partnership Project.
I visited the site March 5, 2008, a cool windy spring day and recorded some of my own pictures and impressions.
Visit the Grafton Heritage Partnership Web Site for more details of the preservation project.
